its been a really long time since i have seen a sunrise. its quite amazing how clear your thoughts can be at five in the morning. despite reeling from people waking you up consistantly through the night--nothing is reactionary. every moment is perfectly timed. everything seems clearer.

and watching the sky turn from black and star scattered into deep purple followed by cerulean and then baby blue speckled with orange, pink and yellow is quite elating. now i remember why i loved rowing so much.

now if only i could fall asleep and enjoy the rest of the day.....
