needs to end.

i think i am ready to start classes and currently my class-less existence is actually not proving to be all that exciting. i mean i love camp smith, but honestly i am ready for some good honest school work.

for the record...

llking someone....loving someone...being involved with someone...etc...pretty much just sucks. all around. i think i am going to hang low for a while. but in the mean time i have to nurse my hangover. rawr tequilla. rawr indeed.

back in action

so i am back at school. strange as normal but nothing too surprising i guess.

so summer is over.

training for pre-o starts in three hours and then life will be in full swing again. i am unsure of how i feel about this at the current moment. i guess overall i am excited. but school is such tricky business. and i am a junior in college....i am supossed to know what i am doing and my overall plan for smith. but really i am just as confused as everyone else.

for the record heartbreak sucks. alot. especially when you realize it could have been avoided with a fourty eight hour difference.

birthday and internet woes

alas, it has been a time since i posted last. shit dude. for some reason my computer at home didn't think blogger.com existed. so as such, no posty for me.

i went home for about a week, turned into an "anti-teenager" (as a friend of mine so aptly put it), ate good food, enjoyed a kitschy piano bar, and in two days i return to my place of normal existence...school.

i was able to see a ton of my old friends which is always a blessing, because for serious they are the greatest.

i received multitudes of birthday wishes and gifts. including a much needed coffee pot, with electronic timer, set to brew five minutes before i wake up in my petite dorm room. i also landed a job here in good old door county for next summer. rock.


other than that, life is nothing new. except they messed with thefacebook.com and now i am all confoozed on how it works.

door county

to all of those who know me well, you know about me and door county and this year looks like it will not be an exception.

i have so far taken in the entire penninsula by car, for the first time ever by myself. i think i could easily get used to drinking white wine and reading judith butler for the next few weeks. i saw most of the people i needed to see already too!

now if i could only find a cell phone charger...ah the midwest and its lack of samsung goodness.

the internship ended well, and i am glad to have it over. i think the exhaustion is just starting to settle in though. there is not enough sleep to kill the deprivation right now.

in a few days i head home to boulder. its all looking good from here.

the end

the end is here. last show starts in less than a half hour. then the last strike happens. tomorrow is cleaning day. and by this time tomorrow i will be in new york state somewhere nearing niagra falls, the first stop on the sight seeing tour on the way to wisconsin.

by wednesday i will be nestled in a bed next to a lake, sleeping. sleeping like i haven't slept in weeks, because guess what! i haven't.

shit damn, i am looking forward to all that needed rest and relaxation. if only it would come a weensy bit faster.

Fourty Seven

apparently i have read too many books in my life. and a ton of them are banned. Nearly half the list i have indeed read, which is so funny because all of them are my favorites. Anastasia series, the giver, i know why the caged bird sings, harry potter, etc....

it has occured to me that some of these books are ridiculous. I looked up the Bridge to Terabithia and discovered that most libraries ban it because it "promotes a fantastical world". WHY THE FUCK IS THIS A BAD THING!!!!

Now i am going to return to some other banned books....or soon to be banned books. and when did judy blume become sooooo controversial?

beer+computer=disaster or redemption?

so a while back i spilled some sam adams light on my computer. it went on the fritz. the keyboard went kpppppffffff and as such i cleaned it off. taking apart all of it. althought the keyboard was still kpppffffffed. so i had to send it into apple. i received my computer back today, approx. 24 hours after i received the email that said "we are sending it now". (for future reference DHL is a KICKASS service to send things with) and went it came back to me my keyboard was fixed and new, the screen was new, the entire casing for the computer was new except for the top and the battery.

YAY!!!!

five days, four mainstage shows, two children's shows until the end of the internship.

two days til my mommy comes.

tonight connie is coming and we are hanging out (she leaves for india in a few days), tomorrow is the last night of karaoke, saturday the interns are having a night out, sunday is the closing party, and monday I am on the road for DOOR COUNTY!!! my daddy comes to doco on the 12th, grace comes to doco on the 15th or so, and then i go home on the 17th. yay. this is exciting.

i cannot wait for classes to start and life to kick into high gear. this internship is in need of an ending.

new york city

never sleeps. except at between the hours of 5am and 11am. Ironically NOTHING on the lower east side was open as i stepped off the subway on delancy street. well nothing except teany, which is the BEST restaurant ever. i want to eat scones and clotted cream EVERY day. sigh.

the whole trip was fantastic. i spent time with meg, which as always, was delightful. we went to mexican restaurants, cuban restaurants, and french restaurants. went to il papiro, the best paper maker in the world. (they are based in florence, italy) spent too much time in diesel...too much money at american apparel. got my hairs cut at crops for girls. and even ate some gray's papaya hot dogs. yum.

watch harry met sally, and in a whirlwind...went home.

and now i am back at work...doing nothing. and apparently i am not suppossed to be here. dan rist (our technical director) saw me and exclaimed "what are you doing here? go home." and so that is what i am going to do. go home and either take a nap, or a walk or something. other than sitting here on my ASS in everyone's way.
